Aron Herdrich schafft mit der Arbeit „looking through“ eine ortsspezifische, installative Arbeit, die sich flach am Boden der Ausstellungsfläche befindet. Das Motiv, der Lichteinfall eines Fensters, spiegelt das vorhandene aber nicht zur Geltung kommende Fenster des Galerieraumes. Konsequent zu Ende gedacht zeigt der Künstler auch keine Drucke der Platten, sondern diese selbst.

With the work “looking through,” Aron Herdrich creates a site-specific, installative piece that lies flat on the floor of the exhibition space. The motif, the incidence of light from a window, reflects the existing but not brought-to-attention window of the gallery space. Consistently thought through to the end, the artist also does not show prints of the plates, but the plates themselves.
